HI, I'M MOLLY!
A NOTE FROM OUR NAMESAKE
I crossed over the Rainbow Bridge soon after my mom started her business, and she decided to name it after me. She says it's because I was the best dog ever!
I came to her as a foster when I was eight or nine years old. She couldn't decide if she was ready to be a dog owner, but I didn't give her much of a choice. I followed her around and made myself at home right away.
My mom's name is Nikki. Some of you will call her Molly, but that's OK. She'll answer to both!

FOUNDER OF MOLLYZ PET SERVICE
A former actuary turned full-time pet care professional living my dream job! I’ve called Church Hill home since 2017, and I absolutely love this community.
Before launching Mollyz Pet Service, I spent countless hours volunteering with animals and helping out my neighbors with their pets. As a former college tennis player and black belt in Taekwondo, I have the energy and discipline to keep up with even the most spirited pups.
Starting Mollyz Pet Service has been one of the best decisions of my life, and I’m thrilled to share that the company has grown beyond just me. I now have an amazing team of dedicated pet lovers who share the same passion for care, dependability and fun.
When I’m not out walking dogs, you’ll probably find me planning my next trip — I’m a proud member of the Seven Continent Club! (And yes, penguins are my absolute favorite. Ask me for pictures!)

What I love most about working with Mollyz is building relationships with the pets. I love getting to know each of their personalities, earning their trust and being a familiar face when I visit. Little moments — like when a dog brings me a toy or a cat rubs against my leg — are what make this job so special. When I’m not hanging out with animals, I’m either teaching first grade, enjoying as many concerts as humanly possible or making memories with friends. I share my home with two kitties, Stuart and Leslie.

I’m so excited to be part of the Mollyz team! I always grew up with dogs in my family and considered myself just a dog lover, but then found out how much I adored cats when my family adopted one. Although I don’t currently have pets of my own, I love the dog and cat that currently live in my home. When I’m not hanging out with your pets, I’m math tutoring, volunteering and working on film sets, doing 48-hour film competitions and traveling.

Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, I moved to Richmond to attend VCU, where I’m now a senior in the Dance & Choreography department. Back home, I have two dogs: Hazel, a lab and pitbull mix, and Virgil, a chihuahua and rat terrier mix. I love working for Mollyz because I get to take care of and be around people’s pets when I can’t see my own. I love spending time with your animals, and I know what an important part of the family they are!

Originally from Virginia Beach, I've been in Richmond since 2022 where I bought my first home. Nikki hired me in 2025 and I jumped right into the team dynamics, learning as much as I could to get up to speed! My favorite thing about being a Mollyz team member is how much peace we can bring to both pets (and their humans). I live with my fiancé Zack, and our two pups, Iris and Sky (both rescues from Richmond Ruff House and RAL!), and love a good DIY.
